Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA Policy)
At Cichlid World Tank, we take every precaution to ensure your fish arrive healthy and in excellent condition. Every shipment is carefully packed using professional live-fish shipping methods.

Live Arrival Guarantee
If your fish arrives deceased (DOA), please follow these steps:

• Notify us within 10 minutes of the carrier's recorded delivery time.

• Send a 10-second, unedited video showing the unopened bag exactly as it arrived in the sealed shipping box. This helps us verify the condition of the shipment.

• We receive delivery notifications from our shipping carriers, so all claims are verified using the carrier's official delivery timestamp.

Once your claim has been reviewed and approved, you may choose one of the following:

• A refund for the affected fish, or

• A replacement fish. If you choose a replacement, the customer is responsible for 50% of the shipping cost for the replacement shipment.

Shipping Delays
Our Live Arrival Guarantee does not cover losses caused by carrier delays, lost packages, or any shipping interruption that extends delivery beyond the scheduled arrival date. While we package every order to maximize the health and safety of your fish, we cannot assume responsibility for circumstances outside of our control once a package is in the carrier's possession.

Order Cancellations
Orders canceled after they have been placed are subject to a $20 cancellation fee.

Returns & Exchanges
Because we sell live animals, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or trade-ins.
